AMA & ASMOF have engaged heavily with the Department of Health, the government to ensure members interests were safeguarded, that a consultative process with the profession was established, and specifically, that the ASMOF recommendations about clinical support/supra-LHN structures have resulted, assisting members and services in mental health, D&A, cancer, and pathology, and the maintenance of clinical streams.
